1. Mark needs to check whether or not he is registered for his College Algebra course, but
the lines are much too long at the advisement center. What should he do?

A. Since Mark needs to check if he is registered for his College Algebra course but
the lines are too long in advisement he can check that information on the schools
learning management system. The LMS allows students to check the courses
that they are enrolled in at anytime.

2. Mark needs to do a literature review for a paper that will be due next month in World
History. What are three digital resources that could help him do this?

B. Some of the different digital resources that Mark can use to help him with the
paper are online database, workshops, and mini-courses that the school library
offers online and can be accessed.

3. Mark’s Economics professor has flipped his classroom. The professor has provided an
economics e-book and a series of recorded lectures to review at home on topics that will
be discussed and worked on in class. What are some other online resources that Mark
might be able to use to supplement the book and videos?

C. Some other things to use to supplement the book and video is an open education
resource, like Khan Academy. Another thing that Mark can use is Massive Open
Online Course, or MOOC, which is free online courses that anyone can enroll in
which is taught by college professors and is very much like a college course with
start dates, end dates and assignments.
