Reading Comprehension.
Paragraph 1.
Online tutoring is the process of tutoring in an online, virtual environment in
which teachers and learners are separate by time and space. Online
environments applied in education usually involve the use of Virtual Learning
Environments such as Moodle, Sakai, WebCT, Blackboard, etc.
The tutoring may take the form of a group of learners simultaneously logged
in and receiving instruction from a singular tutor. This is often know as e-
moderation, which facilitates the achievement of learning goals.

Paragraph 2.
Online tutoring presupposes a self- motivated and independent learner.
The learning aspect of tutoring outweighs the teaching aspect., E-
moderating usually refers to web- based learning that is based on
constructivist and social- constructivist principles : it focuses on using online
dialogue and peer learning within the online environment, on achieving
goals on independent learning, learner autonomy, self- reflection,
knowledge construction, collaborative learning, online discussion,
transformative learning and communities of learning.
Paragraph 3.
From the very beginning of online tutoring, controversy surrounded several
concerns voiced by educators and parents. The questions raised by online
tutoring include: how does a parent or teacher know that the online tutor is
qualified to give help? How reliable is the interface? Will it accommodate the
discussion of the tutored material at a comparable level to a traditional
classroom setting?
Paragraph 4.
Two necessary assumptions about online tutors are that they possess
academic qualification sufficient to educate and that they have specific
training to meet the challenges of online communication. Online tutors also
need to be aware of the stages learners usually go through in the online
environment; these stages determine the kinds of support that is appropriate
for learners at each stage.

Writing
Write a composition about what you feel in this isolation
The islanding has been difficult for me, generally I am not a person who goes
out a lot and I like being at home more than on the street, before most of the
time I went out it was because I had to get something or buy something, go
to university etc. Many times that's what my exercise consisted of. But since
that is no longer possible, I have had to get used to new routines of
absolutely everything.
The most difficult has been how I communicate with my friends, my parents
or other family members. It was also difficult for me to get used to receiving
the classes in a virtual way, I have to say that I still don't get used to it and to
be honest I don't like it.
