A Child Is Born
Supplies Needed
● Yarn - I choose to use Caron Pound yarn, but you can use
whichever yarn you choose. * These colors can be customized to
your favorite colors!!

For this pattern, I used Ivory // Mocha // Dark Brown // Gold // Dark
Grey // Grey // Sage Green // Burgundy // White // Black // Dusty
Blue // Tan // Light Pink // Green

● Scissors
● F 3.75MM Hook
● Yarn Needle
● Buttons of choice for eyeballs. I used 6mm ones found at Hobby
Lobby. Or, you can stitch them on.
● Optional - Low Temp Glue Gun and regular glue sticks. I choose to
glue all my pieces together - YES they hold up fine in the wash
(cold water, gentle cycle), but I always suggest doing your own
research. Even though tumble drying low was fine, I still
recommend you lay flat to dry. Again - do your own research!

Abbreviations
● CH - Chain
● SS - Slip Stitch
● SC - Single Crochet
● HDC - Half Double Crochet
● DC - Double Crochet
● TC - Triple Crochet
● SC2TG - Single Crochet 2 Together (Decrease)
● HDC2TG - Half Double Crochet 2 Together (Decrease)
● DC2TG - Double Crochet 2 Together (Decrease)

**NOTE** If there are stitches you do not know how to make, just
search youtube on how to make them - these stitches are all super
simple, and seeing them in a video can be very helpful :)

Some more notes about this pattern:

1) All of the 3 Wise Men and Joseph patterns are made exactly the
same - just different colors used for each one. And Joseph’s
head robe is slightly different, and he doesn’t have the hair on
his pattern.

2) Being there are so many pieces in this pattern, I am showing
you how to assemble each one while going through that
particular pattern, and then a final picture at the end with the
entire ensemble put together. Use pictures for guidance on how
things are assembled.

3) Also, all these pieces are individual so you can move or place
them wherever you wish! They are not all attached as one large
connected piece.
