“The Hunger Saga”

“Life in its’ nature is circular,” often you have heard that told,
Life unveils itself, fold upon fold.
Life’s occurrences change with the passing of a phase,
Within this life, also there is many a case.

Hunger is itself a circle within our time on this orb

Your existence indeed, hunger will absorb.
Its’ perceived notion is always subject to change
And that is itself primarily due to your age.

When you are a little child,

You are always adorable, but sometimes a bit wild.
When your tummy starts to rumble
Your hunger overpowers you, and start to fumble.

“I’m hungry”, you start to bellow

And you are no longer dulcet or mellow.
You run back home, in anticipation of food
And once eaten, that makes you feel good.

Now you have grown in age,

But not much, don’t consider yourself to be a sage!
Your assessment of the world has begun to blossom
And gradually you start to perceive this macrocosm.

Your mind has been tempered with many a new aspect

For food and hunger, without a doubt, grows your respect.
But competition in our life steps foot
And gradually grows your career’s root.

You now start to strive

In order for yourself to thrive.
Now your hunger inclines towards your avocation
Which you think of making your future vocation.

Time passes, you cannot be still in age

And your mind also evolves, sometimes with infuriating rage.
Perseverance now becomes the key
And that will finally set you free.
Your ambitions begin to take flight
And from then will begin your life’s fight.
“I want to lead a stable life”, that’s what you constantly think.
And to that calling does your hunger now link.

After many an application of effort, you succeed

You now start to take other factors into heed.
You think of a ménage to love and to feed
Your hunger now shifts in that need.

Life’s jigsaw puzzle gradually gets complete

And your own life is almost replete.
Due to your times’ swell
You can ease up, and sweetly can you dwell.

The passage of time has now made you old

You have become feeble and sore
At this point of time, your philosophy gets embittered
And gradually you lose your faith in life.
Your hunger is now for death. You want to leave this strife.
You cannot keep up to such painful standards.
Your optimism has become hindered
By the feeling to leave this orb,
Forever.
(Note: You see how that sense of rhyme is lost)

That is how “Hunger” changes

Broad aspects does its’ scope ranges-
From gustatory pleasures to death
However, it always remains a potent factor that keeps your set!

(Note: Things happen, but never with ease

And its’ as if somebody has thrown a ton of grease
On your hunger’s path
And sometimes it incurs in you wrath!)
