Activity The objective of this lesson is for the students to be able to understand the different types
advertising techniques that may influence their health practices and behavior. The teach
begin the activity with a brief lesson on the different advertising techniques; going over hi
of advertising and specific examples of how corporations use these techniques to influence
decision. The teacher will also cover how different jingles for commercials will influence
people; on the white board there will be a list of different jingles and teacher will click on
one to see if the students recognize them. The teacher then will continue the lesson using
different visuals on the whiteboard to demonstrate the different advertising techniques. T
the teacher will call on different students to go up to the white board and write what the c
marketing technique is being used, after the teacher will discuss with the whole class wha
correct answer was and how that method can influence people’s health choices.
