Emma : Hi An!
Anna : Hi Em!
Emma : It’s so good to see you!
Anna : You too!
Emma : We haven’t seen each other in a while so...
(ah) Just going to have a coffee and catch up!
Anna : Yeah
Emma : This place is nice!
Anna : It is, It’s one of my favourites!
Emma : Have you been here before?
Anna : A few times, yeah.
Emma : Oh. So, what can you recommend?
Anna : Hmmmm... well usually I like the ‘Nasi Lemak’. It’s delicious and
they do really good coffee and smoothies.
Emma : Mmmmm...... Ok, I’m going to have the ‘Nasi Lemak’ set with a
coffee. What do you want?
Anna : Ummm... Do you mind if I share that with you?
Emma : Sure.
Anna : And.. I’ll get an iced latte as well.
Emma : Yep, that’s good.
Ahh... Let’s order! And it’s my shout, I’m getting this.
Anna : Are you sure?
Emma : Yes, you got the last one!
Anna : Thanks Em.
Emma : Oh, I got the juice because that’s part of my set.
Anna : Oh, here comes the iced lattes! They look good too.
Emma : So, Anna, how’s your week been?
Anna : It’s been pretty good, pretty busy, coming up to the end of the year.
Is that a bit much? I’m trying to cut down.
Emma : Have you tried the umm... the new cafe down the street, that’s
opened up?
Anna : No, not yet. On love street? What’s it called?
Emma : Ah... It’s called, um.. The Bakehouse.
Anna : The Bakehouse? Oooh, I’ll have to add it to my list!
Emma : I think it’s good for breakfast and coffees and things like that, but I
haven’t been. But I’ve heard it’s good.
I think there’s a really good band playing this weekend at umm... at
China House too.
Anna : Oh yeah? Is it that Raggy guy? We should go and check it out.
Emma : That was really nice An!
Anna : Yeah, it was good to catch up. And it was good to met you too!
Emma : See you An!
Anna : Bye!
