INSTALL NETWORK CABLE
This is under the core for the SET-UP COMPUTER NETWORK.
We have 2 basic types of
NETWORK DESIGN
May mga computer design na kailangan malaman natin kung ano
ba ang mga klase ng connection ng mga computer:
1. The Peer-to-peer Model
-ito ang common na sini-set ng mga offices kasi madali itong
gamitin at madaling i-set para din diretsong ma-access sa
kabilang computer ang mga files na naka-saved.
“All of the computers are equal and therefore known as peers.
Normally each computer serves as Client/Server and there is no
one assigned to be an administrator responsible for the entire
network.”
-meaning iyong privacy is EQUAL, sa kabilang computer pwede
niyang hindi ipakita ang kanyang mga files kasi magkakaiba sila ng
privacy at security
2. The Client/Server Model
-Ito ang ginagamit para ma-secure ang mga files ng
marami. Ang mangyari mayroon naka-set na SERVER
para ma-controll niya ang sa kabing computers.
“The client/server model is basically an implementation
of distributed or cooperative processing. At the heart of
the model is the concept of splitting application functions
between a client and a server processor.”
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
Always observe safety
-check the area, switch, and needed to be used.
Use high quality cat 5e or cat 6 cabling
5e is use for regular/normal and 6 is use for standard
cabling
Have good cables runs
Kailangang alamin natin na tama ang gagamitin nating
cable at kung ito ba ay naaayon sa paggagamitan natin.
Use the right plugs!
-Huwag natin pilitin ang hindi naman appropriate device
dahil pwede iyon ikasira ng computer
-Kung baga sa opisina ang server lang ang pwedeng
magbigay ng mga files, documents, applications at iba
pang soft copies na nak-saved.
TOOLS, MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT
-ano baa ng ginagamit na mga tools, materials at equipment sap
ag-create ng NETWORK CABLE
1. Unshielded twisted pair (UTP) Cable
-Ito ang common na ginagamit na networking maliban pa sa mga
ibang wires o cble na kakailangani sap ag-install ng network cable.
2. Registered Jack (RJ)-45
-Dito makikita kung pano magcreate ng networking. Dito
maikukunek ang mga cable para ikunek naman sa mga ibang
computers.
3. Hub
-Ginagamit din ito for networking na nagsislbing switch sa iba
pang mga computers. Kailangan natin ito malaman dahil ito ay
ginagamit sa networking,
4. Tester
-Ito ang ginagamit ng mga computer technician at computer
students after they installed network cable if it proprer connected
or not.
5. At least 2 sets of computers
-we need at least two sets of computer to connet to one another.
Do not untwist more than 0.25” of cable
-huwag natin i-twist ng more than 0.25” dahil maaaring
maputol ang cable,
Keep the pairs together & wire correctly!
-dahil sa networking may sinusod pa na color coding
Use the correct terminating tool!
-kung ano lang ang kailangan gamitin sa tools sa
pagputol ng cable iyon lang ang gamitin natin.
-huwag tayo gumamit ng anumang tools na di nman
kailangn kasi pwedeng masira ang cable.
Apply 5’s and 3R. Practices
-after na maka-create tayo ng networking kailangan
tandaan natin ang “5’S Principles” (Sort, Systematize,
Sweep, Standardize and Decispline) at dapat din ma-
apply ang 3R (Recycle, Reuse ,and Reduce).
