Standard Ten: Leadership and Collaboration – The teacher seeks appropriate
leadership roles and opportunities to take responsibility for student learning, to
collaborate with learners, families, colleagues, other school professionals, and
community members to ensure learner growth, and to advance the profession.

I am placing my Service Learning Times Sheet under Standard Ten, Leadership and
Collaboration, as evidence of my emergent mastery. This artifact belongs under the
mentioned standard because it shows that I seeked appropriate opportunities and roles
within my own community. Through the experience of service hours, I was able to
collaborate with other educators, families and other school professionals. As the sheet
states, Over 50 hours where completed in an early education setting with many young
learners. I was able to assist in the student learning process while also making an
attempt to advance in the education profession. Through this process I have made
strong connections with educators and parents within my own community.
