Lesson Plans Week One

Name of the lesson plan- Afternoon Board

Objectives- this is what I want the students to do and to follow the direction on each slide

Ages- 5-6

Materials- Promethean board

Time- 1:10-1:45pm

Introduction- we are going to do the afternoon board

Instructions- There’s a lot of things on the morning board, guess the word and number, singing songs
about numbers and letters, days of the week, the months in a year.

Closure- Summing up everything that we talked about and doing a “gonoodle”

Assessment- There really isn’t an assessment.

Summary/Adaptations- they do a song about being a bucket filler, then they close their eyes and the
line leader for that day buts a blue circle over a number then they uncover their eyes and the leader
calls on someone to guess it, then they pick a song and do that..they do the exact same thing with the
alphabet. Then they do sing a song about the days of the week and the months in a year

Domains/Goals- know the months, the days of the week, addition with dice, letters and numbers
