Pipecheck_Exercise_A01_Manual_Alignment

1. Set-up the diameter and create a manual alignment using “Move Grid”. Get an
Upflow or Downflow view to make it easier. Do not apply yet.

2. Show user how to use the automatic tool. Manually move the grid in a wrong
position. Make a selection (Using select through is easier) and use “Align cylinder on
selection” function. Do not apply yet

3. Show user what happens if the selected area is bad. The selected area must look
like a cylinder; otherwise the alignment will not be accurate. Do not apply yet.

4. Type a wrong diameter and make a good selection. Try to use “Align cylinder on
selection” again. It might not work well. The diameter is critical. You can proceed to a
final good alignment
