Well for starters, I absolutely love this resource.

I have used a couple other resources

before that are similar this, and this is by far the best one resource I have come across. I learned

that Word and Google Docs can be incorrect with grammar and spelling, even when they say it is

correct. I thought my writing skills were pretty good, but after seeing the summary reports on

ProWritingAid, I can see that I need to work on my writing and grammar skills. My original

score was 54 and after using the ProWritingAid, it improved to 83. Infact my grammar improved

from 49 to 81 and my style went from 44 to 100. That was my biggest change. Although, I’m

little confused because my spelling decreased from 69 to 68.

Through this data I learned that something I need to work on the most is my style. Within

my style I need to work on not adding adverbs outside the dialogue and to use adverbs sparingly

in my writing, especially in creative writing. However, some of the things I did well in within my

style was not using run on sentences and no long subordinate clauses. I was really surprised on

how precise ProWritingAid is. It’s very detailed and so specific about one’s weaknesses and

quality’s. One thing I really liked was how it gave comments on how to fix one’s mistakes. I will

definitely use this resource in the future and recommend it to my fellow students.
