If there is one thing I have learned about technology, it is that one can never stop learning

about the opportunities it has for us. Technology, especially this year, has been beneficial to so

many, and maybe frustrating to others! I have firsthand how technology has been helpful for my

cooperating teacher in field. She has used Google Doc to make her own website with links

attached, uses Google Classroom every day on multiple occasions, uses online videos to help the

students understand the concept better, and much more. However, I can also see the frustrations

she has had with technology and E-learning. When I think about E-learning I think back to my

time as a student in Elementary school and the differences there are between then and now.

Using the computer was an extreme privilege that only came about once or twice a week. Now

students use computers almost every day.

In these past six weeks of taking this course, I have definitely learned a lot more about

technology, apps, and how they can be resourceful to both teachers and students. Specifically,

during this semester one resource that I have learned to be very resourceful for E-learning and

will also be useful for my project is VidGrid. For my weekly folders, I can use VidGrid to post

videos explaining the assignments, checking in, or explaining any questions. Another resource I

have found that could be resourceful for my project is Google Forms. I could use Google Forms

to create quizzes, surveys, or practice tests. I think depending on the age and grade, using

technology can be very useful and teachers are lucky to have these opportunities today! It can be

frustrating at times and sometimes these frustrations are out of our way, however, technology can

be very beneficial for everyone.
