MODULE 01 TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION: EVOLUTION AND DEVELOPMENT

PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES:

1. How does technology impact student learning?

Some would argue that technology is not that beneficial to students or to everyone in
general, particularly in terms of learning, but that is a stereotype in and of itself because we
have the freedom to choose how we spend our time using it, whether it is productive or not.
However, what I see in students like me nowadays is that technology is truly a necessity when
it comes to acquiring knowledge, especially now that we are in the midst of a pandemic and
the only way for us to stay connected is to use our technologies. And, of course, when it comes
to references, there is a lot out there that is reliable; you just have to be smart to find so. So
it's very useful; it makes things easier and more accessible.

2. How will this subject help you in development of learning?

Technology in learning: evolution and development will help me in understanding how
technology works because you will be learning not only the components of the technology but also
its history. You will be able to use it more effectively as a result of this. Because when you
completely comprehend how something works, the other aspect will follow.

MODULE 02 TRADITIONAL EDUCATION/TECHNOLOGY/ MATERIALS IN CONE OF EXPERIENCES

I. PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES:

Benefits for teachers. With countless online resources, technology can help improve teaching.
Teachers can use different apps or trusted online resources to enhance the traditional ways of
teaching and to keep students more engaged. Virtual lesson plans, grading software and online
assessments can help teachers save a lot time. This valuable time can be used for working with
students who are struggling. What is more, having virtual learning environments in schools enhances
collaboration and knowledge sharing between teachers.
1. Why did you want to be a teacher?
Here in the Philippines, it is undeniable that the education system is great, especially if
the school is high end, but not everyone can access either they are not as capable or just
their place. That is why I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher and assisting
underprivileged children. Giving them the same quality of education and just the concept of
them learning is so extremely satisfying and fulfilling.
2. What will be the help of studying educational technology in your course?

VII. GENERALIZATION

Why use media to enhance Teaching and Learning Process? What did technology
have to education system?

Everyone nowadays has more access to media than any written narrative, which is why it is necessary when
it comes to enhancing the teaching and learning process; it blends well with the student now and makes learning
more fun than is usual because of the options that we now have. Learning history is a great example of this; the
subject itself is boring and requires a lot of reading and understanding, but with the help of technology, it now
provides options that suit your learning style, making it more enjoyable.

MOULDE 03 CONTRIVE EXPERIENCES

III. PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES:

Teaching with contrived experiences. If for one reason or another, we cannot employ direct
experiences as materials for instruction, let us make use of an “edited” version of direct
experience-the contrived experiences. These are “edited” copies of reality and are used as
substitutes for real things when it is not practical or not possible to bring or do the real thing
in the classroom. These contrived experiences are designed to simulate to real-life situations.

1. What is the use of contrived experience in teaching-learning process?

With students, education is more than just what is taught in the classroom; it
also teaches you how to deal with the real world, which we are all confronted with
at the same time. And with that, contrived experiences are required to make
teaching relevant as our time moves on; otherwise, it will just waste people's time
as it will not be useful at our present point or in the long term.

2. How will you develop contrived experience in learning?

You will notice the changes as time passes, and they will be natural. You will
develop it as you learn, from learning the accounts of the past to what it has now.
And, of course, in school, we have what is known as grade levels, which are stages
in which we encounter various types of teaching processes that compel us to create
our own contrived learning experiences.

VI. GENERALIZATION

What standards can be used to evaluate contrived experiences?

If the content is still happening up to this point, that would be the standard itself by evaluating
contrived experience because it would be a waste of information if it was not already useful at this
present point. Contrived experience is used because we require modern, relevant methods of instruction.
As a result, it would be useful for simulating real-life scenarios.

How types of contrive experience enhance student’s learning?

Having these types of learning makes education feel like we're playing a game, which relieves
stress for students. It improves our interaction with our classmates as well as our teachers, and it also
improves our critical thinking because it simulates real-life situations.

MODULE 04 INTRUCTIONAL/TEACHING AID IN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

III. PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES:

Psychologists, designers, educationalists, and many professors around the world work on
improving the quality of education because a lot depends on the education of a whole generation. The
resources a teacher uses while teaching play a role in how students learn. Motivation, stimulation,
retention, interest, actionable learning, etc. can vary based on how the act of teaching occurs.
Instructional materials also include assessment and testing methods. Basically, any material, any
information containing resources which that the teacher uses while instructing. Now testing materials
don’t necessarily contain information, but they help the retention and learning of information, thus, they
are instructional materials. Sometimes, they are a means to an end, the end being the assimilation of
information.

1. What is the use of instructional materials/Teaching aid in teaching-learning process?

Every subject in the school curriculum requires the use of instructional materials. It gives students the
opportunity to interact with various kinds of learning styles. That is more comprehensible for students with
the use of technology. It makes teaching goals more attainable.
2. How instructional materials/ Teaching aid motivate the learners?
Because it simplifies the learning process, students find it easier to follow, which leads to them
enjoying it and participating more. It simplifies the lesson while also providing options for dealing with it.
Teaching aids are beneficial not only to the auditory sense, but also to the visual sense, as children prefer
colorful materials to those that are static in a book.
