Teach with a New Teach Tool Reflection

I really enjoyed working on this Teaching with a new Teach Tool. Working on the

project helped me explore all the cool and creative resources available to teachers. There is so

much out there! It definitely made me think about the teachers that did not have access to these

resources and even did not have access to technology but still provided for their students. We are

a little spoiled! We started out our project with a presentation based on the seven continents. It

was being portrayed as a 4th grade Geometry lesson. We asked the class of they knew how many

continents there is, there names, and where they are located. After this we explained our teach

tool in which is called “Remind.” Remind is super helpful for both teachers, parents, and

students. It sends out reminders of the assignment due to the students with phones and sends

reminders to parents. It helps the teacher stay organized and on top of things. The best part is one

doesn’t even need the app or an account to get the message. The teacher can simply give them

the code and number to text and they will automatically get the reminders over whatever

notification process they prefer. We did this with the class and it was a success!
