She purchased materials in March, cut fabric squares in March and April, embroidered designs and sewed quilt tops together in April. In April and May, she finished assembling the blankets by sewing the fronts and backs together. In total, she spent 40.5 hours completing and delivering the blankets to Saint Mary's NICU.

2pm-3;30pm We went to Rochester to purchase materials such as: Flannel and minky fabric, a fabric blade, matching thread, pins, and stabilizing material.
March 23rd, 2019
10am-2pm Laid out materials and started cutting 5X5 inch squares with flannel materials.
March 30th, 2019
11am-1pm Continued cutting 5X5 inch squares.
April 3rd, 2019
2pm-7pm Finished cutting flannel material into 5X5 inch squares. Cut out 6, 5X5 inch squares in the minky fabric.
April 6th, 2019
1pm-4pm Linda came over to show me the embroidery settings on the machine. We embroidered the 6 minky squares, and pinned together the top of the first blanket. Then we sewed it together.
April 8th, 2019
2pm-7pm I sewed two more quilt tops together.

1pm-7pm I finished sewing the last three quilt tops together.
April 17th, 2019
1pm- 5pm Linda came over and taught me how to cut the backing of the blanket to the front. We pinned together the front, back and stabilizer. She showed me how to sew the back and how to leave an opening to pull the blanket through. Then finish it up by hand sewing the hole shut.
April 30th, 2019
1pm-6pm Sewed three more blankets together.
May 2nd, 2019
1pm-4pm Sewed the last two blankets together.
May 6th, 2019
2pm-4pm Drove to Rochester and dropped the blankets off at the NICU in Saint Mary’s.
