WORK IMMERSION JOURNAL SUMMARY

On Monday, November 12 2019. Me and my fellow classmates from BBSHS went


to morning breeze elementary school for our work immersion where our skills will
be honed and tested based on the assigned job or work that will be given to us.
We arrived at MBES at exactly 8:00 am in the morning with the supervision of our
filipino teacher, Mrs, Rubycel Santos Dela Pena.
18 students of BBSHS were presented to each designated teacher.
Andrea Oli and I was assigned to the school library that is superintended by MS
Olivia Deguzman
But MS Olivia Deguzman was absent that day, that is why we were temporarily
assigned to another group, then at exactly 12:00 noon we finished our designated
tasks.
On the second day of our immersion on November 12.
I arrived at exactly 6:40 in MBES whereas each of my classmates are waiting for
their assigned teacher.
meanwhile, our assigned teacher was actually there already and just waiting for us,
so we kindly went to check our teacher.
By the time when 7am came, a task was given to us then. Mrs deguzman asked us
to list everything in the library and encode each of the name of the book's author
and encode it in the computer
6 hours wasn't enough to even count let alone list every book in there, but our
facilitator or teacher told us to not hurry and not to worry and stress ourselves too
much because we still have a long duration of time remaining in our immersion.
our assigned teacher was very kind and treated us very well.
at exactly 12 pm, our teacher told us to stop what we’re doing so that we can rest
and go home after.
Meanwhile, In the 3rd day of our work immersion, we are drawing nearer to the
completion of our task which is the inventorying of the books, and the writing of

the assigned author of it, on the third day we also experienced some weird
paranormal occurrence on the library.
On the fourth day, I was assigned to teach MAPEH at the section of the grade 6,
Mabini, the kids were very behaved and nice.

On the fifth day we continued our task of encoding the number of books in the
library and their authors.
On my 6th day of immersion, on November 18 2019, from 7:00 to 10:00am, I
listed the need materials that will be used for our project aimed at the improvement
of the library bulletine board, then, at exactly 10 am I went to the grade 6 section
of Malvar to discuss MAPEH and task the student to write about the subject lesson.

7th day Nov 29 2019 7:00 to 10 we brought the Art Materials needed for the
Bulletin board, 10:30 am, I started painting.

Day 8, we started to glue the bulletin boards I designed and made.
Day 9, on the 9th day I started making the other bulletin board design that was
suggested by our facilitator or teacher,

On the 10th day, we started improving the looks and design of the bulletin boards
by putting backgrounds and retouches on it.

On the 11th day, November 25 2019, from 9:20 to 10:50 a taught a class about
environmental health in MAPEH, in the section of the grade 6, Malvar, and then I
gave them an activity related to the topic I discussed. The activity is about drawing
a poster regarding environmental health

On the last day of our immersion, Ms andrea Oli and I prepared writing things
regarding the documentation and summarization of our 12 day experience in our
work immersion on Morning breeze Elementary School.

25 GOOD IMPRESSIONS
1. It was fun teaching.
2. The children were behaved
3. The teacher, Mrs Deguzman was very nice and approachable.
