Narrative Report
Intramurals 2018

The Samahang Tagapagtaguyod ng Edukasyong Pilipino together with ANSA, DACA,

TACTICS and the United Education, Nursing and Computer Studies (UNECS) managed the
events in the 2018 Intramurals on September 10 - 12, 2018.

The first tryouts for the players was on July 22, 2018 (Sunday). The reason for the early
tryouts is for the players to have time to process the necessary papers that they need to
accomplish and of course to have longer period of practice before the intramurals.

In Literary, Music and Dance (Litmusda), the audition for the vocals is spearheaded by
Kenneth Urbano, for the folk dance are Leo Rosales and Kim Cielo Buenaventura, for the dance
sports is Precious Sales.

During the competition, there are moments that are unexpected, just like the problems
with the late players, opponent’s dirty tactics, and last minute disqualification of folk dance
because there is a team whose music and dance are similar with their steps. However, the folk
dance team did not give up and they practice their new music and dance for only 2 hours and
managed to be in 1st place.

Despite of the challenges, UNECS still managed to rise up against the odds and
declared as the 4th place. We have to congratulate those players or contestants who received
an award during the intramurals and also to those who did not received an award but gave their
blood, sweat and tears.
