Project Duration: February 9 and 16, 2019

Length of Implementation: ​2 day Implementation only. For the first day, 6 hours of
community work for the distribution/placement for the waste segregation trash bins. For the
second day, 3 hours of community work for the distribution and 3 hours for preparation for
providing and putting a signage and trash bins.

Objective of the Project:

 The two day project general purpose is to keep the maintenance of the cleanliness in
Barangay Potot, Libmanan. Camarines Sur. The objectives are the following sets:

1. To promote the Importance of cleanliness among the participants.

2. To expand the awareness of the community people on the advantages of proper waste
segregation.
3. To call for the support of the people in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness through
proper waste segregation.

Project Description: ​In some areas of barangay, improper waste is prevalent.

It was known that the barangay is faced with the problem of improper waste
disposal especially in the public area. It is for this reason that the project is viewed as a
significant intervention in setting in place a system of waste management.

The target audience will benefit from the project in terms of acquisition of
know-how on waste management, prevention of diseases and illnesses associated with improper
waste disposal and unhygienic surroundings. The audience will also learn on how to earn a
money in terms of proper segregation

The project will cover at least 50 families of the Barangay specially

providing signage and trash bins.

Methodology
 The clean-up drive method will be employed in the project. Performing the proper
waste segregation bins and provision of signage and trash bins will also be done.
