1. DESCRIPTIVE
Orchard Road
Orchard Road is a Boulevard which becomes business and entertainment center in Singapore. Orchard
Road is surrounded by a lush tropical and flower gardens which are beautiful. At first, Orchard Road is just a
suburban street lined with orchards, plantations nutmeg, and pepper farming. However, in the 1970s, it turned
into a shopping center in Singapore. In 1960 and 1970 entertainment industries began to enter this road.
Shopping centers such as mall and Plaza was built in 1974.
Orchard Road runs along about 2.2 km. This road is one-way street flanked by a variety of shopping
malls, hotels and restaurants. The shopping area which is nearly 800,000 square meters provides a wide range
of Things, food, and entertainment. In this area there are many options that can satisfy visitors from all walks of
life starting from the luxury branded things to the Popular branded, from exclusive restaurants to fast food.
There are so many ways that can be accessed to get to Orchard road such as: by taxi, bus or drive your
own car. For those who are driving to Orchard Road can be entered from the west through the Napier Road.
Vehicles from Dunearn Road can turn to left at the intersection of the Marriott Hotel junction. Vehicles that come
from Paterson can turn right onto Orchard Road. Orchard is always crowded so you have to be careful in order
not to get lost.

How to make a French toast

Recipe for French Toast

You are going to need:
4 pieces of bread Butter
1 spoon of sugar Pan
2 eggs Fork
A quarter of a cup of milk Bowl
Before you start to cook, you have to read the recipe.
Now you can get ready. After you read the recipe, put everything on the counter.
When everything is ready, break the eggs, pour a quarter of the milk in the bowl, then add a small spoon of
sugar. Mix the eggs, milk and sugar.
Next, put a piece of bread in the bowl with the eggs, milk and sugar. Turn over the bread.
Now, put some butter in the pan. Turn on the stove. When the pan is hot, take the bread out of the bowl and
put it into the pan. After you cook one side of the bread, cook the other side. After you finish the first place of
the bread, cook the other pieces. Now you have French toast!

3. RECOUNT
Last holiday my students and I went to Jogjakarta. We stayed at Morison Hotel which is not a long way from
Malioboro. On Friday, we went to the sanctuaries in Prambanan. There are three major sanctuaries, the
Brahmana, Syiwa and Wisnu sanctuaries. They are truly stunning. We went by just Brahmana and Syiwa
sanctuaries, on the grounds that Wisnu sanctuary is being remodeled. On Saturday morning we went to Yogya
Kraton. We spent around two hours there. We were fortunate on the grounds that we were driven by a brilliant
and amicable aide. At that point we proceeded with our adventure to Borobudur. We touched base there at four
p.m. At 6 p.m. we heard the declaration that Borobudur entryway would be closed. In the evening we left
Jogjakarta by bus.

4. REPORT

Giraffe
Giraffe is the highest animal in the world. Its height can reach 4.8 to 5.5 meters and its weight about 1360
pounds. Giraffe has a unique characteristic. They have a very long neck and two small horns on its head.
Giraffes have big brown eyes and protected by thick and long eyebrows. Her body is covered with a unique
pattern that is attached by brown spots all over their body.
Just like camels, giraffes can survive without drinking for long time because giraffes can rely on the water
contained in leaves they eat. Giraffes are very selective in choosing food. They always eat young leaves that
grow in the tree tops. Their tongue shaped like a knife help them to cut branches which are very hard.
Female giraffes can start pregnant at the age of five years, with a gestation period of 15 months. Commonly
female giraffe bear one baby, but sometimes two babies at once. Giraffes bear its baby with a standing position.
When the baby is about to be born, they just drop it to the ground from a 1.5 meter of height. Baby giraffe can
stand with about 20 minutes since being born, and begin breastfeeding within an hour of birth.
