Dear Dr. Godbind Gill

As a student leaving High School and entering straight into college to study the basics of
becoming a Vet Tech. and as a college undergraduate I will put my focus into completing
the main subjects that are required to become a Vet Tech. Subjects such as Chemistry,
Biology, Zoology, Physiology, Microbiology and Anatomy to obtain my bachelors
degree at a four year college before going into Veterinary Medicine school. My
determination and fond love for all animals of shapes and sizes is what makes me an
excellent person for the job of being a Vet Assistant.

In High School I was in FFA for two years which taught me a lot of about the biology of
animals, I also spent my senior year of High School in an Anatomy class where I learned
about many different animals in depth and detail. I raised my own animal which
happened to be a pig for the local county fair, I had to take care of it, bath it, and feed it
the amount of food that it needed and had to make sure that it wasn’t getting sick. I also
raised all of my own pets that I has at home from my first dog, to a goldfish, cats, and
reptiles. I am very determined to go into this field of work and look forward to helping
animals everyday the most that I can.

My goal is to complete my four years in college to obtain my bachelors degree but still be
very hands on during this process by also working with you guys as a Vet Assistant so
that I can gain even more experience, I want to work full time and learn the most that I
possibly can from well trained and experienced Vets. By becoming a part of your team it
would be a huge milestone for me in pursuing the career that I want by the experience
that I will gain. I also believe that it would put me ahead of others if I got the chance to
be on your team while still being in college. I understand doing this will be a challenge
but it is something that I would look forward to everyday and a field that I would be
competitive in.
Thank You Dr. Godbind for taking time out of your busy day to read my letter, I am
excited to hear back from you to discuss my future potential contribution to your Pet
Hospital. Please send me an email @khuerta95348@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

Karen Huerta
