Appreciation Letter

When it comes to life we are always going to need someone to make it through the ups and downs of life.
A person that you can confide in and talk about what you are going through, someone that will listen and
be there for you no matter what time it is. I got lucky with the people that I have in my life and would not
trade them for any other thing in the universe. I will forever be thankful for the time and energy that they
put into me this letter is going to be about the people and things that helped me while growing up.

I appreciate my mother because she has always been there for me, since birth and to this day is still by my
side. I know that her love for me is strong because no matter what I do, how much heartbreak I put her
through or how many times I have upset her she never leaves my side. She shows me that she cares about
me and that she actually wants what is best for me and wants me to be happy. I'm thankful for the times
that I would get sick and even though we didn’t have a car at the time she would find a way or she would
walk us to the doctor while pushing me in a stroller or when she would come back from the store and
surprise me with new toys or how sometimes she reads my mind.

Always and forever will be thankful for my hardworking father, I really don’t think that there is anyone
else in this world that loves and cares for me more than my father. My father always took care of me as
best as he could whether it was him staying up all night with me when I would be crying or him working
in rough weather conditions just so that he could be sure that I had everything that I needed. I know that
he sacrificed a lot for me, put himself through a lot for me, and fought for me. To this day he is still
continuously trying to better himself for me and my sister I love and appreciate him.

My sister for being so pure and kind with me, always having a big smile, full of life when she talks to me
and just like that she makes my day better, for being as silly as I am, for always having my back since you
learned how to talk and even before then I have your back too. When we argue thank you for not staying
mad at me for long. For always thinking of me and trying to include me in all the things you do and thank
you for being my sister.

Friends, I see them as a gift from the universe, especially the few friends that I have because ever since I
was little I’ve never really had any close friends that I could actually confide in until I went into middle
school and met this best group of people that I honestly think ill ever meet, I got so lucky with my two
best friends. They show that they care and trust me with things that actually make me feel like i'm
important to them.
