When I think of pride, I question myself, what exactly makes me proud to let the world

know? What gives me pleasure and satisfaction? I try and do what I do with pride
weather it is in my work ethic or just personal things such as things that I find humorous
or what my interests are and not being shy to let others know because I am proud of
them and am comfortable with myself to where I can let others know.

I am a proud sister, being the only sister with a single mother is not the easiest thing to
do when you are trying to be a good big sister while still being in school was not easy
for me, I always feel like I could do more for my sister which is what i believe keeps me
motivated to better myself for her, I always try to help her with everything that she needs
help with whether that be her homework, cooking lunch for her, or just giving her simple
advice. I am always going to love my sister and hope to become an even better person
that she can learn from.

I find pride in how I have matured from 4 years ago until now, I’m proud of how I am
growing and nourishing, I learn from mistakes that I make and see them as lessons and
not things to be ashamed of. When i'm frustrated I try not to act on impulse but instead
stop to think if I do what I feel like doing will I be satisfied with it in the long run or would
it be something that would make me feel ashamed and that I would regret?

In my work ethic I try and put things as most organized as I can for example in school
assignments I always complete the assignments as to where it is easy for the teacher to
grade them. When I do assignments I check them twice before turning them in. I make
sure my writing is clear and understandable, I do this because I find comfort in knowing
that I did my best and that the person looking at my work will understand it and not have
a hard time with it.

I find pride in my family I am proud of them, I am thankful for how my parents raised me,
they are the reason why I am kind and contributed to helping me be the best that I can. I
am proud and thankful for my mother because she always makes sure that I am okay
and cares about what I am going through always. I am proud and thankful for my father
because everything that he does and all the sacrifices that he made I know he made for
me and I will forever be thankful to him. My sister who is one of the most kind, pure
hearted person in my life.
