long dry season of the Department of Boyaca.

Characters/Personajes A cow named Lola, a pig called Peppa, several sheep, horses and donkeys.

Beginning / ¿qué sucede al inicio de la historia? (Máximo en tres frases) The animals of the farm
“The refugee” are anxious about the lack of food due to the extensive dry season that Boyaca is
undergoing. They cannot expect an aid of the owner of the farm since he cannot afford the
expenses of this place anymore.

Middle/ ¿Qué sucede luego? ¿Qué problemas se presentan? (Máximo en tres frases) Some
animals in the farm do not agree about doing something and think that the solution to the dry
problem is only the owner’s business. Others cannot decide a common idea that benefit to all of
them, so quarrels arise and the solution do not advance.

End / ¿Cómo termina la historia? ¿Cómo se resuelve el problema? (Máximo en tres frases) The
animals become united in their way of thinking and they invent a new irrigation system that brings
a lot of water to every town of the department. Besides, they contribute with ecological
measurements to save water and not to pollute it.
