Group TYPE-I: INFORMATION FOR ADMISSIONS THROUGH COMMON
ENTRANCE TEST (CET)
A1 Programmes:
After Three Years Programmes: B.Com. (Hons.), B.Com. (Accounting & Tax Management), B.A.
10+2 (Journalism), B.A. (Hons.)-Economics.
Five Years Programmes: M.B.A. (Foreign Trade/ E-Commerce/ Management Science/ Tourism
Management). M.Sc. (Electronic Media), B.A.LL.B. (Hons.).
Entrance Test:
The Entrance Test will consist of 100 questions of 4 marks each. Questions will be distributed as
per follows:
a. Verbal Ability – 25 questions
b. Quantitative Aptitude – 25 questions
c. Data Interpretation- 25 questions
d. Logical Reasoning – 25 questions
Duration: 2 Hours
Evaluation: Correct Answer: +4 Marks, Wrong Answer: -1 Mark
A2 Programmes:
After Three Years Programmes: B.C.A., B.Sc. (Electronics)*, B.Sc. (Hons.)-Physics*, B.Sc. (Hons.)-
10+2 Mathematics*, B.Sc.(Hons.)-Applied Statistics and Analytics*.
Four Years Programmes: B.Pharm. B.C.A. (Hons.).
Five Years Programmes: M.Tech. (IT), M.B.A. (Hospital Administration).
Six Years Programme: M.C.A.
Entrance Test:
The Entrance Test will consist of 100 questions of 4 marks each. Questions will be distributed as
per follows:
a. Verbal Ability – 25 questions
b. Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning – 25 questions
c. Biology/ Mathematics (10+2 level) – 50 questions
Duration: 2 Hours
Evaluation: Correct Answer: +4 Marks, Wrong Answer: -1 Mark
* The University is in process to start B.Sc. programmes from 2019-20 session.
B1 Programmes:
After UG Two Years Programmes: M.B.A. (Advertising & Public Relations/ Business Analytics/ Business
Economics/ Computer Management/ E-Commerce / Entrepreneurship/ Financial Administration
/ Financial Services/ Foreign Trade/ Hospital Administration / Human Resource/ International
Business/ Marketing Management / Media Management / Public Administration and Policy/
Rural Development/ Tourism Management).
M.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication).

One Year Programme: Bachelor of Journalism (B.J.)

LL.M. (Business Law)
Entrance Test:
The question paper of B2 group will have TWELVE sections of 25 questions each. The student has
to select any FOUR sections to answer. The sections will include the subjects as per follows:
a. Verbal Ability
b. Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning
c. Physics
d. Chemistry
e. Mathematics
f. Computer Science
g. Electronics
h. Botany
i. Zoology
j. Civil Laws
k. Criminal Laws
l. Corporate & Commercial Laws
Syllabus of these subjects will be as per under-graduate level.
Duration: 2 Hours
Evaluation: Correct Answer: +4 Marks, Wrong Answer: -1 Mark
B. Sports Field:
1. AAPHER Youth Fitness Test (Table Attached) 60 Marks
2. Game (Any One) (from the list given below) 50 Marks

List of Games:
Hockey, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, Cricket, Judo,
Handball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Swimming, Gymnastics, Wrestling, Weight Lifting, Yoga,
Taekwando, Wushu, Track and Field (Two events – one Track and one Field events).
Note:
1. The school of Physical education has the rights to include or delete any game according to
the administrative feasibility.
2. The candidate have to secure at least 40 % marks in the sports field otherwise in spite of
his fulfilling all other requirements he will not be eligible for admission.
D&E Programmes (D Group): M.Phil.
After PG Subjects: Commerce/Economics/Education/Energy and Environment/ English/ Geography/
Hindi/ History/ Home Science/ Journalism and Mass Communication/ Law/ Life Science/
Management/ Mathematics/Philosophy/ Physical Education/ Physics/ Political Science/
Psychology/ Sanskrit/Social Work/ Sociology/ Statistics/Urdu.
Entrance Test:
Separate entrance test will be conducted for M.Phil. and Ph.D. admissions. Each Entrance Test
will consist of 100 questions of 1 mark each. Questions will be distributed as per follows:
Part-A: Research Methodology-50 questions
This part will be of generic nature, intended to assess the research aptitude of the candidate. It
will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, data interpretation, and quantitative aptitude
of the candidate.
Part-B: Subject specific (PG Level)-50 questions.
Duration: 2 Hours
Evaluation: Correct Answer: +1 Mark, Wrong Answer: 0 Mark (no negative marking).
* 1. GATE/GPAT qualified candidates are not required to appear in the entrance test. They will be
admitted in M.E./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm. Programmes on priority as per merit of GATE/ GPAT score. Such
admitted candidates will also get teaching assistantship (fellowship) as per AICTE rules.
2. Non-GATE/ Non-GPAT candidates are required to appear in this Entrance Test for admission in M.E./
M.Tech./ M.Pharm. Programmes. Such candidates will be admitted on the basis of their merit in the
entrance test.
Entrance Test (for Non-GATE/ Non-GPAT Candidates):
There will an Aptitude based Entrance Test consisting of 100 questions of 4
marks each as per follows:
a. Verbal Ability – 25 questions
b. Quantitative Aptitude – 25 questions
c. Data Interpretation- 25 questions
d. Logical Reasoning – 25 questions
Duration: 2 Hours
Evaluation: Correct Answer: +4 Marks, Wrong Answer: -1 Mark
Group TYPE-III: INFORMATION FOR ADMISSIONS THROUGH MERIT IN
QUALIFYING EXAMINATION
H Certificate Programmes:
French, German, Translation and Literature, Performing Arts, Labour Law and Personnel
Management, Consumer Psychology and Advertising, Guidance and Counselling, Human Rights,
Embedded Systems.
Admission Criteria:
Admissions will be given on the basis of merit of qualifying examination.
I Diploma Programmes:
Performing Arts, Dramatics, Consumer Psychology and Advertising, Interior Designing, Logistics
& Supply (Cargo Management)
Admission Criteria:
Admissions will be given on the basis of merit of qualifying examination.
J PG Diploma Programmes:
Computer Applications, Advanced Translation and Functional Hindi, Guidance and Counselling,
Human Rights, Labour Law and Personnel Management, Yoga Therapy, Population Education
and Demography, Embedded Systems.
Admission Criteria:
Admissions will be given on the basis of merit of qualifying examination.
K UG Programmes:
B.A. (Performing Arts), B.S.W., B.L.I.Sc. B.Voc. (Interior Design/ Fashion Technology/ Nutrition &
Dietetics/ Landscape Design/ Handicraft)
Admission Criteria:
Admissions will be given on the basis of merit of qualifying examination.
L PG Programmes:
M.A.: Economics, Functional Hindi-Translation and Literature, Sanskrit Literature, Sanskrit
Jyotish, English Literature, Urdu Literature, Performing Arts, Sociology, Political Science, Clinical
Psychology, Women Empowerment and Lifelong Learning, Yoga. M.L.I.Sc., M.S.W., M.Voc.
(Interior Design).
Admission Criteria:
Admissions will be given on the basis of merit of qualifying examination.
M Other Programmes:
EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME: M.B.A. (Executive)
