Food is apart of everyday living, and we need to work together to complete this job
properly! I’m applying for the open position of a baker at your restaurant. This particular position
will open a new route for me to advance in my baking techniques and skills as a worker. I bake
food for my family frequently, and for other occasions. According to reviews, this company has
been rated high-quality for its performance, which influenced me to choose this restaurant.
As a baker, I’m responsible for my personal hygiene, contaminated equipment,
time-temperature abuse, and cooking food correctly to avoid foodborne illnesses. Since I have
past experience with baking myself and with the help of others, I’ve acquired several important
skills that are crucial to this position. These include patience, good work ethic, good
communication, dependability, honesty, love, and teamwork. As a result of taking food science
at school, I’ve acquired my ServSafe Certification.
My skills and knowledge of food in general makes me qualified to be in this position,
especially since I have experience with baking. The rates of this restaurant gives me more
confidence and motivation to be apart of it.
