As seen on my enclosed resume, I am applying for the Sandwich Artist position. I

learned about this opening from one of my good friends, Rayna Einhardt, who said you
are looking for summer seasonal applicants. I am hoping to gain experience in food
management, to gain more experience dealing with customers, and to expand my team
working skills.

I have all of the requirements to be a great applicant for this position. I have had
previous experience working in the food industry at Riversedge Popcorn in downtown
Battle Creek. From this experience, I learned how to prepare food, take orders, serve
customers, operate a cash register, and handle difficult customers. I also worked at
Michaels Craft Store, where I gained the experience of working a different type of cash
register and handling unhappy customers. With both jobs, I was able to manage my time
very well, between work, school, and sports.
