Dear Raythel Fisher,

My name is Isabella Carrillo im 17, and i am a graduate from Merced High

School. I found out about this job through a family member who has worked
for you guys. I believe i would be a good fit for this job because i have
experience in the military and family who have been on both sides of the bars
so i feel i have a better understanding. Pursuing a career like this is something
im very passionate about because it is also personal and it is my goal to
change lives.

I understand that running a prison requires teamwork and communication

along with consistency and following procedures. With the military training and
experience i have i feel i could pick this up quick. I’ve been promoted and
delegated to lead teams in platoons before and i understand the importance
of following procedures and orders. My aunt who is also a correctional officer
mentors me and has shown me what to do to prepare for job like this. I also
have family who were on the other sides of those bars which has given me an
insight on why it's important to do your job well and the impact you have on
others.

This has always been a dream career if mine and i've always seen it an
an opportunity to serve my country in a different way. Thank You for your time.

Sincerely,

Isabella Carrillo
