1. There are two key persons in the study. The very first person is Richard, the role around

that, the whole story circling. Richard appears in the role of a disabled child with some external

disability that needs him to study in a special education system. Around all the time, Richard is

dealing with the problems his mother cause to him. The other main character in the study is of

the teacher, Polly. She appears to be a kind and caring teacher who looks after Richard and helps

her all the time dealing with the problems he got.

2. The case describes the story of Richard that how his mother ignores him and his siblings

in the sake of her drugs. All the ignorance that Lizzie, Richard’s mother, brought him are making

Richard miserable and the teacher cares about him. The problem actually occurs when Polly gets

knowledge that Lizzie is addict of drugs and this is a police case. That makes him feel

sympathetic about Richard.

3. Both the characters are valued in the study. In fact, the teacher Polly is a caring and soft

hearted instructor who cares about her student. The character makes the story actually interesting

through its way of explaining. While, the other character is of Richard about him all the story is.

Richard shows his care for his brother and sister and his devotion to help others that make the

story very touchy.

4. The problem needs to be dealt with thorough detail. The solution would start from Lizzie,

the mother of Richard. She actually needs treatment of her addiction problem. The issue is also

severe at the side of Richard, who is going to loss himself due to ignorance. If I would have to

deal with the problem, I will try to find some parent who batter can afford Richard at their place.

5. If I would get a problem of the same kind and I would have some authority to deal with

that, I will simply find some place for the siblings. The ignorance Richard and his siblings get at

home can severely affect their capabilities to be a good part of the society. The very reason has

caused to hear the teacher that Richard has caught up in jail. If he was provided with some good

atmosphere and quality education, he would never going to be like that.
