Dear Ms. Griffiths

This year I have improved in my education in many ways. My collaboration skills

have improved a lot since the beginning of year. I am able to communicate with people
who I don’t know. I am also able to speak in front of people because of the activities that
we've done in AVID. Some improvements I suggest is to at least 3 times a month have
work days so we are able to catch up on the things we are missing. Something else I
suggest is to at least once a month print the classes grades out and talk to them about
their grades. Last thing is to have more college field trips and go to colleges like
UCLA,San Francisco,etc.
New goals that i've assigned for myself is so speak up for myself if I am in need
for something. Another goal is to not fall behind in any of my classes and to keep all my
assignments turned in on time. I need to get better at taking notes and completing them
fully and not be lazy about completing them. I also need to work on not procrastinating
so much and be on top of my assignments. I am most proud of my communication skills
because I am able to speak without being nervous and anxious.
AVID in the past years are way more different than I expected because you have
to do so much work and twice as much notes as usual. Trying to adapt to new things
was tough at first because I was use to not doing anything in my previous AVID class
and switching into more challenging work helped into being prepared in my other
classes. If I could go back to freshman year and change something I would change my
participation with the class because it could of been way easier to talk to others. I would
also change my organization because I was messy and lazy in the beginning of year
waiting last minute for everything and slacking off.
