Explanation
The teacher prepares an infographic which shows the vehicles and their users before the class. When class is
started, s/he shows the poster, and they talk about it. The teacher listens children’s answer to learn about
their knowledge and says the names of users. After that, the teacher says children that “We have a game,
now!”
For the game, children formed as two groups, each group includes six children. The teacher gives the boards
to the children. There are ways for vehicles (car, ship, airplane, train), and there are two bags full of picture
cards. The cards include the pictures of driver, machinist, captain, and pilot. Children take a card from the bag
randomly, and they move one of the vehicles according to the card. All the vehicles should reach to the end
point at the shortest time. According to children’s interest, the game can be played more than once.
When the play end, the teacher gives children worksheets to assess their learning. Each child is expected to
done worksheet correctly and individually.
The teacher should download the materials to prevent the occurrence of the Internet problems. If there is not
an opportunity to show the infographics from smartboard, the teacher prints them before the class.
The printed paper can be glued on a carton to make it more useful, and children can see it better.
If there would not enough time, the worksheet can be done after the school as children’s homework.
