Sample introduction by Amy Biancolli on “ The Princess and the

Frog”

For starters, the Mouse has officially crowned its first African-American princess. Her
name is Tiana, and she's not sitting around waiting for some pretty fella in tights to
whisk her away on horseback. Voiced by Tony Award-winner ​Anika Noni Rose​, Tiana
is a jazz-era waitress in New Orleans, and baby, she's got dreams; once she scrapes
together the down payment, she plans to open her own classy restaurant. Her mother
(​Oprah Winfrey​) objects, thinking she ought to get out there and “meet (her) Prince
Charming,” but Tiana has zero interest in men.

I picked this intro because it shows how strong this Princess can be and the many
emotional things that can be predicted with how she is focused on work more than
anything else and how she is willing to go out and go achieve her dream and knows
what she wants.
​Mulan leaves an avalanche of bravery.
 Mulan is an amazing film and it’s praze is will deserved.The story of
going in and having to be brave.The story of adventure and
hopefulness.The life she does not want and going out to change
it.Thinking she is not a worthy and good daughter.

The premise of the movie Mulan is short but long at the same
time.Mulan(Ming-Na Wen) does not feel at home.She feels like she
has to do something in life unlike the other women staying waiting for
a man.Her father Fa Zhou(Soon-Tek Oh) is called into battle even
though he is too old to fight.Mulan tried interrupting the announcement
but the person talking Chi-Fu(James Hong) Yells back at her you are
a disappointment to her family honor for interrupting a man's work.Her
mother Fa Li(Freda Foh Shen) Tries to make her feel better but it does
not work.So Mulan realizes what she must do.She disguises herself
as a man and takes her horse Khan(Frank Welker).
As soon as she gets there she meets Li Shang(B.D Wong) The leader
of her regiment.He sees that she is weak and that everyone else is
to.Through a training montage by song she meets Yao(Harvey
Fierstein) a man who bullies her but by the end her is friends with her
alongside Ling(Gedde Watanabe) and Chien Po( Jerry Tondo).After
that they are in a carriage driving down to their destination.As they get
to the mountains they enter a trap by the Huns and their leader Shan
Yu(Miguel Ferrer).They escape but at the cost of finding out
someones secret.

One of the themes of Mulan is go out and be who you want

to be and don’t be what society wants you to be.The characters are
amazing as they pull in different types of comedy and friendship by
being so different.The voice acting by the singers were lovely but the
actors who talked were almost just as good.The animation was
amazing for the drawing at the time the trees the fireworks they whole
movie was a work of art.

Even when the scenery in the background is out of focus it still looks
good.I very recommend this movie for anyone who loves disney and
old school animation movies.
