Geneva

the city of watches


Geneva is the second largest city in Switzerland and is located on the border
between this and France. A city surrounded by the beauty of the Alps that is
reflected in the architecture of the buildings. Because it is near the French
country, we can say that it has adopted much of the romanticism of this country.
We argue that Geneva is one of the places where all lovers will feel spoiled and
privileged.
If you arrive in Geneva you should visit:
The Artesian Fountain - is the most visited tourist spot in the city. There is no
tourist to reach Geneva and not to shoot in front of the fountain. What's new
about this is that it is vertically throwing a 140-meter high jet of water.

A symbol of the world's famous watch industry is in Geneva, Flower Clock


Currently, the floral clock is composed of 8 circles, colors and plants varying
depending on the season. An interesting aspect is the fact that the secondary of
the clock is the largest in the world, more than 2.5 meters long
The botanical garden of Geneva shelters over 16,000 plant species, including
roses and dahlias, medicinal herbs, exotic flowers and others. The bird species
there are as colorful as the flowers

The surroundings of the lake are truly spectacular, tourists can choose between
prolonged hikes (drumeții), well-arranged ski slopes, places to admire the world's
finest and most ferocious animals.
They are inspired by a multitude of localities, picturesque places, Swiss villages of
unique beauty. Versoix, Morges, or Gland are just a few of them.
