    The Olympic Rings


    They are a very special symbol. It’s the symbol oficina the Olympic Games. Five
    interlocking rings represent the five parts of the world that are together in the
    Olympic movement : Africa,the Américas,Asia,Australia and Europe. They are
    yellow,redes,black,green and blue. These five colours are present in all the Flags of
    the participating countries.

    The Olympic Torch


    It is used in the Olympic Games’ opening ceremony. The flame represents ancient
    Greek rituals.

    The Olympic mascots


    They are animals or human figures representing the host country.
    Some famous mascots are:

    Athena and phevos,the Greek mascots of the 2004 Olympic games in Athens.

    The Fuwa, the Chinese mascots of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

    Wenlock and Mandeville, the 2012 Olympic Games mascots in London, England.
