Subject: MAIN SOFTWARE has been updated to 1.31 which contains DLNA & HDMI improvements.

Details of firmware upgrade:

• Improved DLNA and USB functionality.

• Improved HDMI functionality for issues such as “No Audio” with certain applications.

Note: This firmware is USER upgradeable by several methods (pages 39-41 of the Owner’s Manual):
1. MANUAL UPDATE
a. Network Update: Downloads the update file via the internet and then updates the software.
(See page 40.) A broadband connection and Internet Setup are required to update the
software using the network. (See pages 66 to 69.)
b. USB Update: Updates the software using a USB memory device containing the update file.

2. AUTO UPDATE SETTING
a. Yes: Enables Auto Update Setting. When the TV is on, or when an Internet application is being
accessed, this function enables the TV to connect to the internet and check for updates
automatically. A broadband connection and Internet Setup are required to update the software
using the network. (See pages 66 to 69.)
b. No: Disables Auto Update Setting.

In all units where the Main Software version is “1.2*” (in Service Menu), or appears as “U1102201” in the
User menu option, please upgrade the main firmware to 1.31.
