Ready Camera 3
Take Camera 3 Anchor 1: Heading into our first national story, on

wall a national emergency.

Anchor 2: One of his main motives as a president

was to build a wall on the U.S. - Mexico border to

prevent drugs and crime from spreading to

America. About 2 years before, he had announced

his intentions to build such a wall, on January 16,

2017.

Anchor 1: since then, there has been lots of

Ready Camera 3
Take Camera 3 controversy regarding this issue, but President

Trump’s declaration of a national emergency has

taken the situation to a new level. On February 26,

the house rejected Trump’s demand for the wall to

be considered a national emergency. The house

passed this resolution with a vote of 245 to 182.

Anchor 2: Before the House denied this issue as a

Ready Camera 1
Take Camera 1 national emergency, the government was shut

down for 35 days because congress would not

give Trump the 5.7 billion dollars needed to

construct the wall.

Anchor 1: In our next national story, we have a

shocking college scandal involving over 50

Ready Camera 3
Take Camera 3 people. Some included are actresses Lori Loughlin

and Felicity Huffman. Yet even college coaches

from prestigious colleges like Yale, Georgetown,

and Stanford were involved in the scandal. The

actress Felicity Huffman in particular payed a sum

of $15,000 to an admissions consultant William

Singer, who attempted to cheat on college

entrance exams.

Anchor 2: Singer was payed a total of 6.5 million

dollars in bribes from multiple clients, and is now,

Ready Camera 1 along with all other identified suspects, being

charged for conspiracy and obstruction of justice.

This scandal was a shock to thousands of families

across the U.S, as there could me more examples

of this scandal that are still undiscovered.

Anchor 1: Next, lets go to Jordan.
