Mechanics for the HIP HOP Dance Contest

1. There must be a minimum of 6 and maximum of 8 members.

2. All members must be a bonafide senior high students of Jose Lim Ho National High School for S.Y.
2018-2019.

3. Appropriate attire must be wore by all members. Removing pieces of clothing during the performance
is permitted provided it is not offensive or out of character.

4. The duration of the dance should be a minimum of 4 minutes and maximum of 6 minutes only
including the entrance and exit.

5. The music must not contain inappropriate, lewd or offensive language. No vulgarity, obscenity, and
explicit contents are allowed.

6. Any kind of hip hop dance is allowed or any kind of dance with hip hop as their focal thought of
choreography, provided that the choreographers of the group have the proper knowledge or
background to execute it properly.

7. Performance order will be determined by the senior high department via drawing of lots.

8. Not adherence to the above mechanics is a deduction of 20 points from the total score.

Overall Effect - 30 %
Choreography - 30 %
Technique Execution - 20 %
Attire/Props - 10 %
Audience Impact - 10 %

TOTAL - 100 %
