The Schools Division of Aurora through the Curriculum and Implementation Division (CID) announces the conduct of the Division Intensive Training for Elementary and Secondary School Paper Advisers on May 15-18, 2018 at Baler Central School. 2. The training aims to: a. enhance the capacity of School Paper Advisers in managing a school publication and in training interested students in the application of the communication arts in journalism and the art of journalism for technological advancement; . write varied articles for the newsletter as major output of the training workshop. 3. Participants in this training workshop are the public and private elementary and secondary ‘School Paper Advisers, Language Education Supervisors, and media practitioners. School Paper advisers are directed to bring laptop, extension wire and portable wifi for the workshops. 4. No Registration or other Fees shall be collected from the participants. Travel and other incidental expenses relative to the conduct of the training shall be charged against school MOOE, ‘school paper funds or other local school funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. 5. Meals and snacks of the TWG/resource persons/trainers, board and lodging, transportation as well as honoraria of the resource persons/trainers, certificates, supplies, and other incidental ‘expenses shall come from the Aurora Elementary School Paper Advisers Association (AESPAA) and Aurora Secondary School Paper Advisers Association (ASSPAA) revolving funds. 6. Teacher- paper advisers who shall attend the four-day intensive training shall be granted a four-day service credit while the non-teaching personnel shall be afforded a one- day compensatory time- off since the last day of the activity falls on Saturday. 7. Enclosure No.1 contains the list of the participants and the Technical Working Group (TWG) while Enclosure No. 2 includes the training matrix. 8. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired. Engr.
