DESCRIBE A CONVERSATION OVER THE TELEPHONE

had several months ago when I was talking with a guy called Mark, the representative from the
University of Manchester
Diễn biến: I had an appointment for an interview at 5 p.m. Which was 9 a.m in the UK. Firstly, I
gave a brief introduction of myself, then I stated my study plan and my future career goals. After
that, I was asked to give a personal statement, and towards the end, I asked him a lot of questions
about Manchester, for example local life, local weather, facilities, my accommodation
arrangements, and so on.

students. I was so excited. It was the first time I had an interview over the telephone, and it was

previous nervousness soon disappeared. Afterwards, I felt that he was satisfied with my
performance, and I was glad my preparation had paid off. Towards the end, when I was told I
would move to the next stage, I was very excited
