PART I

COMPANY PICTURES
INFORMATION, COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY
CENTER (ICTC)

VISION-MISSION

OBJECTIVES:
 To provide quality and reliable IT services of the institution

 Support quality education trust of NDMC through advance information technology


facilities and equipment’s

 To ensure one hundred percent (100%) working condition of all computers and IT
equipment’s in the campus

 To guarantee consistent internet service to all stakeholders in the campus

 Regularly acquire and upgrade computer hardware and software of all computer
laboratories

 Provide community services related to information technology such as:

 Computer repair and network installations


 Computer trainings
 Computer and IT equipment rentals
COMPANY AND SERVICES

THE WORKFORCE
The ICTC workforce is task to deliver the most effective and excellent IT services to
NDMC stakeholders, ICTC has Two (2) units of workforce, the Management Information
System (MIS) and the Information Technology Center (ITC) where each unit has its own specific
task.
The Management Information System (MIS), a newly created unit is task to implement,
supervise and maintain the following computer systems such as:
 Enrolment Information System (EIS)
 Payroll System
 Follet Destiny
 Managed WiFi
 Cyber Library
 NDMC Web Site
 Internet Bandwidth Management

Part of its task is to monitor and repair the Local Fiber Optic Network Infrastructure,
Systems Server and cyber library. MIS also takes charge on the renewal and updating of all
licensed software’s.
The Information Technology Center (ITC) unit takes charge the supervision, maintenance
and upgrading of all computer laboratories in the campus such as:
 College computer laboratory 1,2,3 and Vocational Technical (VT)
 Open Laboratory
 ETD Computer Laboratory
 Junior High School Computer Laboratory

The ITC is also assign to evaluate and recommend the request of computer purchases
from the different offices in the campus. ITC also keeps the records and inventory of all
computers, supplies and software.

FINDINGS AND LEARNINGS

I discovered how to do id picture especially because printing is not just a matter of

leaving any time you want. You should be focused because negligent it can cause mistaken of

person pictures and information of the students and faculty members of the school. Because of

that many cards are wasted.

When our OJT was end I’ve learned a lot of different things and experiences for example,

it was my first time to take a pictures for I’D and editing profile of different students here in

NOTRE DAME. A side from this, I experience molding of PVC trunking cable, rale way

installation, and it was so amazing. In my 486 hours I was so glad and comfortable while were

are doing our task, I feel so overwhelmed because, I think my skill and learning was trained a lot.

RECOMMENDATION

At 486 hours on my OJT there was inadequacy in an office that I discovered is the shortage

of people to perform the job quickly and their equipment is incomplete. Example, we put moldings in the

buildings that needed the internet connection, we can finish the job for one day but because of the lack of

equipment, it wasted some of our time because we need to wait for others to finish using the equipment.

The inadequacy of people in the office is to make the assign faculties their work easily, example of this

the cleaning every morning, sending some computers to other faculties, because they are lack of people

they do the job themselves and that makes the assign faculties take the time longer or finish the job longer

than expected. Even there are many lack in the office, we are thankful because we are success to all our

job like ID’s, PVC molding, etc.
