Bertulis Bahasa Malaysia SJKC Hulu Selangor. We have the pleasure to invite YB

We will continue our programme with the English Story Telling Competition.
Before the competition starts, let me introduce our panel of judges. First, En Abdul
Razak b.Rashid, our chief judge from SK Ampang Pecah. He will be assisted by another
three judges. They are Puan Halimah bt Moosa from SK Ulu Yam Bharu, Puan Kasturi
a/p Kandayah from SK Ulu Yam Bharu and Puan Shahnaaz Mehtab bt Akhtar Ali from
SK Sungai Buaya. Please give our judges around of applause. TQ.

Now, the rules for the English Story Telling Competition. Every participant will
be given 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the bell will be rung by the time keeper,
___________________’ting ting’. If the time is exceeded, 1 mark will be deducted for
every 30 seconds. Timing starts when the participant starts his or her story.

Judgement will be on

a. Pronunciation 30 %
b. Intonation 30 %
c. Expression 20%
d. Contents 20%

Now is the time that all of us have been waiting for. Let’s begin our competition
with contestant number 1, Hue Kit Mun with a story entitled “ A Wise Man”

in a Bird Trap.

Wern. The title of her story is “everyone needs a friend”

Now, the turn for contestant number 9, Aeron Lee Vie Kit with his story entitled “ The
ungrateful Twins”

Now, welcome contestant number 10, Wong Chee Lok with his story entitled “Paddy that
turns into Gold”

Now, welcome contestant number 11,Hoh Kar Xuen with a story entitled “The proud
swam”

enjoy a few performances from the students of SJKC Choong Chee.
