ESSAY

Allama Iqbal
Allama Iqbal is our national poet. He was born at Sialkot in 1877. He passed his F.A from
Sialkot. Then he went to Lahore. He passed his M.A from there. He was a great thinker. He gave
us the idea of Pakistan. He was a very pious man. He was a great poet. He was a true Muslim.
He wrote many books. He died in 1938. His tomb is in Lahore.

Quaid-e-Azam
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammd Ali Jinnah is our national hero. He is the founder of Pakistan. He was
born at Karachi in 1876. He was sent to England for higher studies. He came back as a barrister.
He started practice in Bombay. He started taking part in politics. He joined the Muslim League.
He fought for the right of the Muslim. Pakistan came into being on August 14, 1947. He died in
1948. His tomb is in Karachi. He is the Father of the nation. He live in our hearts. May his soul
rest in peace!

My Classroom
I read in Govt . M.T.B High Chiniot. Our school has forty rooms. My class has very large room.
It is white washed. It is very beautiful. It has one door and three big windows. There are twenty
desks and a white board in it. There is a chair and table in it. There are charts and maps on the
walls. It is very clean and airy. The floor is made of bricks. I like it very much.

My School
I read in Govt . M.T.B High Chiniot. It is situated in Chiniot. It has three gates. It has forty
rooms. They are wide and airy. It has a big hall. It has a play ground. We play there. It has small
garden. There are sixty teachers in it. They are able and hardworking. There are about 2000
students in it. I am proud of my school. I like it very much.

My Best Friend
I have many friends. But __________ is my best friend. She/he is about 10 years old. she/he is
my class fellow. She/he is very hardworking. She/he is very kind. She/he say his/her prayers
regularly. She/he recites Holy Quran daily. She/he take care of her/his friend. i am proud of him.
My Best Teacher
Miss ________ is my best teacher. She is our class incharge. She is about 25 year old. She is
very good teacher. She teaches us English. She is very hardworking. She come to class in time.
She is very kind. She wear clean clothes. All the students like him. I like him very much. May
she live long!

My Self
I am a girl. My name is ________. My father is a doctor. My mother is a teacher. I am 10 years
old. I read in class four. I read in Govt. M.T.B High Chiniot. I always stand first in my class. I
get up early in the morning. I take a bath daily. I respect my teachers and parents. I want to
become a doctor. I am a Pakistani. I love my country.

My country
The name of my country is Pakistan. It is a big country. It is a beautiful country. It comes into
being on 14th August 1947. Quaid-e-azam is the founder of Pakistan. It is an Islamic country. It
has four provinces. Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan. Its national language is Urdu. I love my
country.

The cow
This is a cow. It’s color is brown. It has four legs and a big body. It has two ear, two eyes and
two horns. It has four teats. It has a long tail. It eats grass. It gives milk. We bought it from the
market. It’s price is much. I like it very much.

STORIES:
Thirsty Crow
There was a crow. He was very thirsty. He flew in search of water he found no water. At last he
saw a jug in a garden. But the water was low. He could not drink it. He thought of a plan. He put
some stones in to the jug. The water rose up. He drank it and flew away.
Moral: God helps those who help themselves.

The Greedy Dog


Once a dog was hungry. He stole a piece a piece of meat. He run away. He reached a stream. He
saw his own shadow in the water. He took it for another dog with a piece of meat. He opened his
mouth to get it. He lost his own piece of meat.
Moral: Greed is curse.

The Fox and the Grapes


Once a fox was hungry. He went to a garden. He saw grapes there. He wanted to eat them. He
jumped again and again. He could not reach them. He was tired. So he went away saying. “ The
grapes are sour”. Moral: The grapes are sour.

Foolish stag
Once upon a time. There was a stag. He saw his reflection in the water. When he saw his
beautiful horns. He became happy. But when he saw his ugly legs he became sad. Suddenly he
saw some hounds. He run to save his life. But his horns caught in a bush. He tried to free himself
but all in vain. The hounds caught and ate him. Moral:- Pride hath fall.

The fox and the crow


Once upon a time. There was a crow. He had a piece of meat. A hungry fox came there. His
mouh watered when he saw the piece of meat he thought of a plan to get it. He praised the voice
of crow. The fox said him to sing a song. When the crow opened his mouth to sing. The piece of
meat fell down. The fox ate it and went away. Moral:- Beware of flatter.

The lion and the mouse


Once upon a time. There lived a lion and a mouse. One day the lion was sleeping. The mouse
started playing on it. The lion woke up. He caught up the mouse and was going to kill. The
mouse requested for forgiveness. The lion let him go. After some days the lion caught in a net.
The mouse cut the net with his teeth. The lion was free. He thanked the mouse. Moral:- Do
good have good
Two friends and a bear
Once upon a time. There were two friends. Once they saw a bear. One of them climbed up a tree.
The other lay down. The bear came, sniffed him and went away. The other fellow asked, “what
did the bear say?”. He replied, “the bear said never trust on selfish friend”. Moral:- a friend in
need is a friend indeed.

The father and his son


Once upon a time there was an old farmer and his four sons. They were very idle. They always
quarreled with one another. The farmer was very unhappy for this. One day the farmer bought
abunde of sticks. He said his sons to break the bundle of sticks. They could not break it. He
untied the bundle. He said his sons to break the sticks. They broke them easily. He proved to
them, “ union is strength”. Now, they began to live in peace. Moral:- Union is strength.
