Paragraph on Our National Flag

Every independent nation has a national flag of its own. It is the symbol of
independence and sovereignty of a free nation. As a free nation, Bangladesh has
got a flag of her own. The people of our country feel proud of her flag because it
means that Bangladesh is a free and sovereign country. Our national flag reminds
us of the struggle of our freedom fighters to set the country free. The shape of our
national flag is rectangular having a proportion of 10:6. However, the flag is of
different sizes according to its use. The flag is hoisted every day on top of our
important government buildings and educational institutions. It is hoisted
everywhere on the occasions of the Independence Day and the victory day. On the
occasions of national mourning days, the national flag is kept half-mast in
everywhere. There are two colors. They are green and red. The green color of the
flag is the symbol of the youth and the red color is the symbol of the sacrifices of
the freedom fighters who laid down their lives.

My favourite teacher paragraph

My English teacher is the most favourite to me. He is just 28. He is tall, young and
good looking. His pronunciation is impeccable and he has got a tenor voice. When
he teaches us, he seems to be a living storehouse of knowledge. He teaches us
English through pleasure. Sometimes he cuts jokes. So, we enjoy his class very
much. We have fascination for him. My English teacher is very punctual. He enters
the class on time. He exchanges greetings with us for a very short time. Then he
calls our roll number.

When the roll call is over, he starts reading extracts from the text. His method of
teaching is very easy. He explains every detail of the lessons. We all keep silent
and listen to him motionless. If someone fails to unclerstandany difficult point, he
does not get angry. He explains the part of the lesson again and makes it sure that
all his students have understood him. He is like our guide and his behaviour is very
friendly, Such a teacher is hardly found nowadays. We are proud of having such a
teacher.

Paragraph on Paper
Paper is well known to us. It is a paper on which we write. Before the invention of
paper, people used to write on the barks and leaves to trees and skin of animals. It
was first invented in China. Paper is made in mills. It is made of bamboo, grass,
rag, wood etc. all these things are first turned to powder. Then it is turned to pulp.
From the pulp, the paper is made. There is a paper mill in Khulna and another at
Pakshey. Paper is also made in different countries of the world. Paper is generally

Composition on Jute

Introduction: Jute is a kind of coarse fiber. It is obtained from the bark of a plant
called jute plants. It grows from six to twelve feet high. It is our main cash crop.

Where grown: jute grows best in hot and moist climate. The low and alluvial land
is most suitable for jut cultivation. Bangladesh is the store-house of jute. It grows
best in the districts of Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur Pabna, Bogura, Rajshahi,
Rangpur, Comilla, etc…In our country. Jute is also grown in India, Thailand, and
China.

How grown: farmers plow, harrow and manure their land well and sow seeds in
March or April. Jute plants grow up by leaps and bounds. Weeds And grass are
rooted out duly. Plants attain maturity after four or five months of sowing.

How obtained: jute plants are cut down in July and August. They are then tied up
into bundles and kept underwater to get rotten. They become rotten within a few
days. Then they are taken out of wither and barks are separated from their stalks.
Next, they are washed in watered and dried up in the sun. The dried fibers look
shiny and golden. Thus, jute becomes ready to be sold.

Utility/usefulness: jute is very useful to us. Coarse clothes, cheap shawls, and
gunny bags are made from jute fibers. Besides, mats, ropes, painters, brush, false
hair and a great variety of our domestic use are mead from jute. Jute stalks are jute
is processed into bales and exported raw.

Conclusion: it is a matter of sorrow that nowadays jute has lost much of its
importance in the world market. Artificial fibers have taken its place. Still then, it
is a great asset to our country. We should make all-out efforts to retain its glory as
the golden fiber of Bangladesh.
My Daily Activities
Introduction: A daily life means a routine-bound disciplined life a routine-bound
or a daily life is a must for everybody to reach his desired goal of life.

My daily life: I have well-designed and well-disciplined daily life to follow. I am

very well-designed and well-disciplined daily life to follow. I am very particular
about my daily life. My daily life reminds me of the poet’s two lines.

“I slept and found that life is beauty

A work and found that life is duty.”

My daily life is a give below in brief:

Morning: I get up very early in the morning. I always try to follow the maximum.

“Early to bed and early to rise,

Makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.”
Fist I attend to the call of nature and brush my teeth and have a wash. Then I say
my morning prayer and go out for a walk in the open air. Then I come back and sit
to prepare my lessons. I finish my studies by nine. Then I talk about my bath. The
bath over, I talk about my meal and rest for some time.

School-hour: Then I start for school. I usually go to school on foot. Now and then
I avail myself of the rickshaw. I sit on the first bench and listen to my teachers with
rapt attention. We have half an hour recess from 1 p.m. To 1.30 p.m. Our school
sits at 10 am and breaks up at 4.p.m. I come back home directly after school.

Afternoon: I come back home and then I take some light food and go out to play. I
often take a walk by the riverside and enjoy the sunset scene. I have a garden of
my own in front of our house. I work there with a spade from time to time. I have
planted various kinds of flower plants in my garden. It helps me make the best use
of my leisure time. It is my hobby too.

5
Night: I come back home before sunset. I wash my hands and face and say mu
margin payer. Then I go to my reading room and study till 10 p.m. Then I say my
Esha prayer and take my evening meal. I walk for some time following the maxim,

“After dinner rest a while

After supper walk a mile. ”
I spend a few minutes turning over the pages of magazines and newspapers. I also
make some time for watching my favorite TV programs.

Conclusion: daily life is the best life for us all. We cannot expect to reach mission
of our life without following routine-bound disciplined daily life. Let me express it
in a poetic version,

“we should try to live a life of everyday,

And that is the way to be happy and gay”
MY Hobby

Introduction: hobby means one’s favourite occupation, but not one’s main
business. A man does not depend on it for his living but it is not less important
than his main business. It is an interesting way to enjoy our leisure period.

pictures, painting, like flying, stamp collecting, fishing etc. Whatever be one’s
hobby, it offers one pleasure and instruction.

charmed by their beauty when they are tossed by a gentle breeze. The kid also gets
pleasure when the sweet scent of flowers come into my room. Besides this, I grow

Write a letter to your friend about your visit to a zoo
Date:11/09/20
Dear,
Salman,

How are you? I hope you are well. Today I have taken pen and paper to write you
about an interesting event. Few days back I had paid a visit to the National Zoo.

You know that during last vacation I went to visit my uncle’s house in Dhaka. I,
my parents and my uncle-aunt went to visit the National Zoo at Mirpur, Dhaka.
After buying entrance ticket, we entered the zoo. At first we saw the cages of
monkeys. They were playing with the visitors. Gradually we saw many animals.
There are tiger, elephant, peacock, lion, snakes, leopard, giraffe and many more
animals. I also saw the Royal Bengal Tiger which is famous all over the world. I
got a rare chance to ride an elephant in the zoo. The area of the zoo is so big that
we got tired. Then we took our food that was brought by aunty. We spent the
whole day in the zoo. Then we returned home in the evening.

The day will always remain fresh in my memory. It’s all for today. Don’t forget to
write me.

Your loving friend
