Teacher’s Comment / Suggestions:

 Pupils unable to understand didn’t read thoroughly and didn’t identify keywords in the
questions to help them.
 For language functions, words given were not suitable. Some didn’t construct correct
sentences.
 Showing progression from the last exam.
 Pupils unable to put their opinion in writing correctly and some made unclear suggestions
/ opinions – use wrong words.
 Text given for comprehension was quit fair for their level. However, answer inference
questions, application questions needed to focus on, because pupils were still new to this
type of questions.
 For grammatical items, some of the grammar items tested has been practiced before, but
still they made errors on it.

Teacher’s Comment / Suggestions:

 Some gross errors performed when it comes to spelling.


 For writing, most of them were still weak at expanding ideas.
 Pupils were too restricted to the words given, even though it’s not compulsory to use all the
words.
 Grammar and structural (sentence structures) still need to be improved.
