SCRIPT FOR TED TALK

INTRODUCTION

KENNETH ENRIQUEZ:

Good afternoon everyone, I Kenneth Enriquez and my co-group mates will alternately stand here
in front to give you some information that will also make you realize how someone can motivate and
inspire you. And I will start it with a question. Can I see the hands of those people who have an
inspiration? Okay thank you! How about those people who are still fighting for every situations because
someone is encouraging you to do so? I can see that almost all of us have someone whom we can call as
our inspirations because all of you guys raise your hand. But the question here is, who is your inspiration?
Is it a famous an actor or singer? A role model? A family member? Your partner in life? Or maybe
yourself, you inspire yourself through making yourself believe that you can do anything when you put your
mind into it. But before we go further on talking about inspiration, let me ask you again first. Does anyone
know here what inspiration really is? Does anyone know? Let me see your hands? Okay! Well, according
to Meriam Webster, inspiration is something that makes someone want to do something or that gives
someone an idea about what to do or create. And like what I have said earlier, we all have inspirations in
life. And that person is someone we look up to or someone who motivates us on our daily lives. But, how
can they motivate you to wake up every day? Even to work hard? Are they the reason that you want to
become a lot more successful? Because if they are, then they are indeed your inspiration. Let me give the
stage to my friend Mr. Rafael Adlaon to give you more information about our topic.

BODY

RAFAEL ADLAON:

In making this speech, we had a hard time, literally a rough day for us, until we've watched some
videos people and realized that we just want to talk. That's why it is called Ted Talk. We’ve watched
people who make things different in just a small manner. People that bring us hope in every circumstance
where there is a way, people that reminded us that in all things, all things are working for the good
because you have this little tiny thing called faith, oh sorry I'm sorry. THIS BIG THING called faith.
Remember, without faith you can't please the King of kings. I just wanted to tell everyone here that
according to a 2 time NBA MVP, Stephen Curry that. You don’t have to live anybody else’s story.
Sometimes people make it seem like you have to have certain prerequisites or a crazy life story in order
to be successful in this world. But the truth is you really don’t. It doesn’t matter where you come from,
what you have or don’t have, what you lack or what you have too much of, but all you need to have is
faith in God, an undying passion for what you do and what you choose to do in this life, and a relentless
drive and the will to do whatever it takes to be successful in whatever you put your mind to. Make sure
you live in the moment and work your butt off every single day, and I hope I inspire people all around the
world to just be themselves, be humble, and be grateful for all the blessings in your life. Because that is
how I inspire myself. Next, we’ll talk about how others inspire you as well as how can they affect you. And
I will give the stage to Ms. Jambo.
MERCHIE JAMBO:

Inspiration is a feeling of enthusiasm you get from someone or something, which gives you new
and creative ideas as what Mr. Enriquez said. But to give you a proper meaning about inspiration, I have
asked my Major Professor about that matter and he said: “Ahm, it’s a representation of someone or
something that gives you drives to strive harder to become better”. It only means that anyone who made
you feel or anything that made you feel that you need to make a progress as well as to make the things
that you wanted that is what your inspiration. You may hear a speaker who inspires you, you may read a
book that inspires you, you may hear a song that inspires you, you may meet a person who inspires you,
or you may see something that inspires you. Whatever it is that inspires you, it touches you on the inside
and connects you to a state of being more excited, productive, and purposeful or anything that comes as
a result of being inspired. Have you already heard the word MERAKI people? It is a Greek word that
means to do something with all your heart and with love. And I think that when you think about your
inspiration you can do all the things with love. You can even compose a song, write a lot of books, make
a lot of paintings and do things that made you feel happy. Because you have someone or something that
keeps on encouraging you. You have someone whom you can call a battery because they can be you
95% whenever you feel that you are already 5. They can make you feel that everything is fine as long as
you are inspired. That is why you can do anything with love and in the end you will realized that every
time you are inspired there is always a possible.

CONCLUSION

ARSENIO ENFERTO:

It is true that you can have anyone or anything to be your inspiration but you might also change the
person or thing that you are inspired with whenever there is a situation that you feel hurt because of that
person or thing. For example, your inspiration made you think that what you are doing is right but you
ended being hurt because what did was wrong. In that situation, you will feel disappointed. And with that,
when you already recover, you can find and change what you inspired with. Because I believe that
inspiration is just a temporary feeling that might change overtime.
