Sub: Analytical Report of Workload vis-a-vis Staff on Roll in General Section

Taking account of all the functions of General section , I found there are at least 43 different types of
works, that may be classified broadly in 2 categories; (i) Jobs of Continuous, Routine or Daily nature, i.e.,
Regular jobs and (ii) jobs required to be performed occasionally when the necessity arises, may be
referred as Occasional.

wide range of activities. There is almost no scope of providing any stereotype job to any staff of this

In 2012, Satyakam Poddar (Sl. № 9 of 2011) was withdrawn, w/o proper replacement.

In 2012, also the Number of staff reduced from 15 to 14, including new inclusion of a Junior Peon (Sl. № 14 of
2012), handicapped being almost blind, still remaining on roll of this section till date.

2.1 So, it is seen that the number of Gr. C Staff has reduced from 15 of 2011 to 9 in 2018.
