The document describes the operating principle of Huckepack vane pumps. It explains that a small amount of sealant is continuously metered from an external reservoir into the pump cavity for sealing and lubrication. The sealant washes internal surfaces to prevent contamination buildup before being discharged with the process vapor. A diagram then labels 15 key components of the pump design.

Operating Principle - Huckepack
Working Range Huckepack vane pumps operate on the "once Oil Recirculating Vane through" principle. A small amount of sealant from Pumps an external reservoir is continuously metered into the pump cavity for vacuum sealing and lubrication. Once Through Sealed The sealant washes the internal surfaces, Vane Pumps preventing contaminate buildup. It is then discharged with the process vapour into the exhaust Dry Running Vane Pumps system, where it is separated and removed.
