INTRODUCTION:

Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited (formerly known as Goodlass Nerolac Paints

Ltd) is the largest industrial paint and third largest decorative paint company of India based

in Mumbai. It is a subsidiary of Kansai paint Japan. As of 2015, it has the third largest market

share with 15.4% in the Indian paint industry. It is engaged in the industrial, automotive and

powder coating business. It develops and supplies paint systems used on the finishing lines of

electrical components, cycle, and sand material handling equipment, bus bodies, containers, and

furniture industries.

ONE MONTH REPORT:

 I visited to warehouse and how the goods are arranged and how goods are protected etc..,

 I visited the mettur. And I know how to speak with dealers and how to face new dealers.
And how to manage our health conditions.
 I visited paramathi vellur. And I approached 10 different types of dealers from various
branches nerolac paint.
 I know about the machine and non- machine. What and all work machines do and what
and all work non- machine does.

 I learned the office works .how to change sales order and what is (VF01) and what is
track and I know about the depot code- D979.

 I know about what is shipment process and how to shipment process. I learned.
 I visited the warehouse and I know what FMFO (First Material First Out) is.

 I visited to ellampillai. I observe how to increase our sales. How its target finishing.

 I learned to office works. How it’s working to the current shipment process.

 I visited to namakkal. And I met one new dealer and convincing them. Finally new dealer
accepted.in that how to face new dealer and how to strategy used.

 I know about the offer book monthly wise change. I learned what and all scheme change
and what and all growth% changed and how to change points of product category.

 I visited to kallakurichi. I visited to new dealers. Few dealers only accepted to open the
account.

 I visited to mettur . Mostly what and all products dealers’ preference to buy the product.

 I know the about what all products fast moving and slow moving products.

OVER ALL DEALERS PERCEPTION:

 I analyse in salem most of the dealers want to more offers.

 I found that still many people are not known of the nerolac paint and schemes and

benefits.

 I found that still kansai nerolac paint ltd is the strongest competitor for the other

companies like: Asain paint, berger, etc..,

 Nippon give maximum market creditability and low price of the products when we

talk about paints market.

 New dealers comparison of price between other paints companies . new dealers

wants to low price of the products.

 New dealers still like to invest in nerolac paint but price of the product is very high.

 Adequately people are not know about the kansai nerolac paint.

 Loyal dealers only push to sale our products.

 Nerolac board not satisfaction of our board. They comparing by the Nippon, Berger,

and Asian. In that mainly compared by Nippon.

 Dealer told ( wants to more advertisement)

 Dealers told (Nippon strategy used by only through advertisement) .

 Although the kansai nerolac paint strongest brand the high class and medium class

dealer’s people did not know our products.

 Company should promote the advertisement.


 Company should take feedback from customers to analyze the quality of products

and to judge the satisfaction level of customers.

 Company should enter in ruler areas.

 Company should try to pay attention on after sale service.

SUGGESTION:

I analyze that people are not prefer buy our product. One thing I found that

only advertisement pushes our product that is way. So that dealers easily push our product. A

dealer also wants to advertisements.

CONCLUSION:

Today Paint Industry has a very high growth potential in

market. Post liberalization, the industry has been growing at a rapid pace in terms

of its assets under management.
