Job Title: Risk & Safety Engineer

Entity: Bureau Veritas India Pvt. Ltd


Location: Mumbai
Reports to (job): Manager – Technical Centre – India.

 Purpose of Position

- Responsible for all operations of Technical Center as a Sub-Business Unit of the


hosting country I&F division. This includes commercial and operational activities.
- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System,
including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy

 Major Responsibilities
- He shall deal with all topics to be covered by Bureau Veritas within the frame of the
contract, and will report systematically on the job progress as well as all sales and
expenses directly related to the project. He shall systematically invariably fill up the
Time and Expense Sheets besides filling access database for expanded man hours
- Upon request of TC Manager, the Risk Engineer of TC prepares offers for the Local
Client and makes visits as required to market TC services. However, TC Manager
must countersign each offer before submission.
- To establish direct contact with Activity, Managers of other offices within India, and
MIRA Zone and whenever necessary with other Regions of Bureau Veritas
organization.

 Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)

- Perform & deliver to client as per commitment and client expectations.

 Qualification and Experience

- Graduate Engineer (Preferably Chemical) with min. 07 years of experience in Risk


and safety engineering.

- Excellent interpersonal skills


- Should have good leadership abilities and skills.
- Should be able to manage a team under him.
- Should have a pleasing personality
- Good communication and presentation skills
