    The transport rake system on an Optima filling machine was frequently jamming during production activities. An analysis found the separate holders for the transport rake and centering rake were causing the levelling of the transport rake to become disturbed. The system was modified to provide separate bearings and holders just for the centering rake and transport rake. This change resulted in proper levelling of the transport rake and eliminated friction and machine stoppages from transport rake jamming.
