ABSTRACT

Storage of pharmaceutical preparations is a regulatory activity on pharmaceutical

preparations received from the Kapuas District Farmsi Warehouse, to be safe (no loss), avoid
damage.
The purpose of this study was to determine whether drug storage carried out in the
medical storage room of the Melati Health Center fulfilled the requirements as stated in the drug
packaging brochure. This research was conducted with descriptive observation study to provide
an overview of drug storage in the Melati Health Center drug storage room.
The population in this study were all drugs in the form of tablets, capsules and syrup
stored in the drug warehouse Melati Health Center District of the Kapuas Regency Strait. With a
sample size of 59 the most commonly prescribed drug items.
The results of this study showed that the storage of drugs in the Melati Health Center
Subdistrict of Kapuas District, was quite good, this can be seen from 7 types of syrup drugs
storage conditions are all appropriate (7 types), of 46 preparations of capsules 45 types of drugs
are suitable and only 1 the type of drug that is not suitable, of the 6 preparations of tablets of 4
types is appropriate and only 2 types are not suitable. It can be concluded that out of the 59 drug
items there are 3 items that are not in accordance with the packaging on the drug packaging.
